Bournemouth University
Bournemouth University is one of the largest employers within the Bournemouth area with a large campus site and student village with numerous other buildings and accommodation throughout the area.
A prestigious new five storey building at the heart of the University campus which together with the refurbishment of the existing library was a major project for the university in its ever expanding role as a centre of educational excellence.
Wessex Building Services who have a long standing relationship with the management team of the University were chosen after a competitive tender bid to provide the complete mechanical and electrical services for the new library and the refurbishment of the existing library.
The design of the systems were innovative and incorporated modern control systems for lighting, power and the air conditioning, ventilation and heating services.
