Sexey's School £½ million contract for new accommodation block
Hammond Building Contractors in conjunction with the architect Tim MacBean were asked to appoint a professional company with proven ability in conceptual design and the ability to carry out a multi-disciplined building services installation.
Sexey’s school in Bruton, Somerset is an extremely well respected state boarding school. Their success and popularity has promoted the need to expand and build a new accommodation block in 2011.
After approval was given for the submitted designs, Wessex Building Services were then awarded the full building service installation. The list of multi-disciplined installations that were provided included:- full electrical and plumbing installation with extensive under-floor heating fabrication, lightning protection, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, data systems and external lighting.
Wessex exerted extra effort to ensure that whilst successfully completing the list of multi-disciplined installations they made sure that all services were handed over to the school in time for the new school term.
