New Project Manager for Wessex Renewable Energy

Wessex Renewable Energy are delighted to have recruited Peter Gurr as a new Project Manager who will specialise in commercial and large installations of solar PV, solar thermal, ground source and air source heat pump installations.
Wessex Renewable Energy have seen a significant increase in both enquiries and confirmed orders for a number of renewable energy projects. As part of the Wessex Group of companies that include Wessex Electricals and Wessex Fire and Security, Wessex Renewable Energy are very much at the forefront in supporting the huge wave of public interest on reducing our reliance on fossil fuels and reducing our overall carbon footprint.
Peter was previously Technical Manager at the Centre for Alternative Technology where he was responsible for the engineering, biology, ICT and maintenance departments. His credentials include a Diploma in Technology, a BSc (Hons) Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Brunel University and MSc (with Distinction) in Renewable Energy and the Built Environment from the University of East London and Technology. The Centre for Alternative Technology, Europe’s leading eco centre, offer solutions to the most serious challenges facing our planet working on renewable energy, environmental building, energy efficiency, organic growing and alternative sewage systems.
